Forty eight students and two teachers of Turbo Girls
High School were involved in an accident after their bus overturned on
Sugoi-Kosichei road on Sunday. The students and teachers were rushed to Moi
Teaching and Referral Hospital (MTRH) Eldoret. The students were on their way
back to school after attending a career talk at Kosachei Secondary school.

Speaking yesterday at MTRH, Chief Executive Wilson
Aruasa said that most of them had sustained minor injuries and their lives were
out of danger. He added that they had been counseled since some of them were
shocked by the incident.
On other hand Mohammed Mwabudzo, Turbo Deputy County
Commissioner said that the accident was as a result of heavy rains that are
being experienced in various parts of the country.
